Natuvu Creek, January 22 - 31, 2011

The containers are packed, the team is assembled and we're ready to go!

On January 20, 2011, 29 of our finest medical practioners will depart for the Fiji Medical mission at Natuvu Creek on Vanua Levu, the second largest island in Fiji.

Our volunteer team will spend ten days working at a new, state of the art private facility providing free medical care to the large, rural Fijian community in the north of Fiji.

The team will consist of:
  • Five dentists who will perform general dentistry
  • Four optometrists who will dispense glasses, readers and sun glasses
  • An orthopedic surgeon who will perform reconstructive surgery
  • A plastic surgeon who will perform reconstructive surgery
  • A cataract surgeon who will perform cataract surgery
  • A general medical team consisting of two women's specialists, a pediatrician and an internist who will conduct daily clinics
NOTE:  IF YOU ARE A FIJIAN RESIDENT IN NEED OF ONE OF THESE SPECIALTIES, PLEASE CONTACT LINA AT NATUVU CREEK AT 603-0770 TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO BE SEEN BETWEEN JANUARY 23RD AND JANUARY 31ST.  THE CLINIC HOURS WILL BE FROM 9 AM UNTIL 4 PM.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING AS MANY PATIENTS AS POSSIBLE.  VINAKA!
